Join us June 6–13, 2027, for an unforgettable week at Wroxton Abbey! Whether you're returning to a place that holds special memories or experiencing Wroxton for the very first time, the Summer Alumni Getaway offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the beauty, history, and traditions of Wroxton College.
Open to Wroxton alumni, FDU alumni, family, and friends, this special week combines sightseeing, cultural experiences, educational lectures, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect and relax.
Explore some of England's most celebrated destinations, including Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, London, Cambridge, and Brighton. Enjoy exclusive experiences at the Abbey, from a traditional pig roast with Morris dancers to a medieval banquet, afternoon cream tea, and croquet on the grounds.
And, of course, there will be time to wander the gardens, enjoy a drink in the Buttery, and experience the unmistakable magic of Wroxton Abbey.

Our 2027 Summer Alumni Getaway promises a wonderful mix of historic destinations, cultural excursions, Wroxton traditions, and memorable experiences.
Sunday, June 6 | Welcome to Wroxton
Arrive at Wroxton Abbey, settle in, and enjoy a guided tour of your home for the week. Reconnect with familiar faces and meet new friends over a welcome buffet.
Monday, June 7 | Stratford-upon-Avon & Theatre
Begin the day with a lecture by Charlie Morton before traveling to Shakespeare's hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon. Enjoy time exploring this historic town, followed by a theatre performance.
Tuesday, June 8 | Oxford & Wroxton Traditions
Discover the Abbey grounds and Wroxton village with Andrew Rose before heading to the historic university city of Oxford. Return for a traditional pig roast and an evening of Morris dancing.
Wednesday, June 9 | A Day in London
Spend the day exploring England's capital at your own pace. With early and late return coaches planned, you'll have the flexibility to enjoy London's iconic landmarks, museums, shops, and entertainment.
Thursday, June 10 | Brighton & the Royal Pavilion
Travel to the vibrant seaside city of Brighton, including a visit to the spectacular Royal Pavilion, renowned for its distinctive architecture and royal history.
Friday, June 11 | Cambridge & Medieval Banquet
Explore Cambridge, celebrated for its historic university, beautiful architecture, and picturesque surroundings. Return to Wroxton for a festive medieval banquet, complete with costumes.
Saturday, June 12 | Broughton Castle & Farewell Celebrations
Enjoy a lecture at the Abbey before visiting nearby Broughton Castle. Return for a quintessentially English afternoon of cream tea and croquet, followed by a special farewell dinner to celebrate a wonderful week together.
Sunday, June 13 | Farewell to Wroxton
Enjoy breakfast and say your goodbyes before group transportation to the airport.
